Speak UpDelegate ResponsibilityDelegate more responsibility, whether it’s given to the kids at home, or to an office assistant at work. Some of us strive to be perfect...guilty as charged...and it is hard for us to let other people take care of things that we think only we can take care of. You must learn to break this cycle of thinking. It is only hurting you. You will never be stress free if you can not learn to let go of some things. Start small, but eventually you should be able to concentrate on the things that get results instead of tedious tasks that take up more time than anything else. I ask you, ‘What job is worth destroying your health over?’ Learn Effective Communication With YourselfExamine the language that you use to communicate with yourself. Are you constantly telling yourself that you are stupid or not good enough. You are a valuable asset and somebody loves you very much, whether it be family, friends or coworkers. Learn to talk to yourself in a positive way. Avoid the word 'can't'. If you don't want to do something, then just say that. If it is something that you really want, then figure out a way around it. Ask yourself 'How can I make this happen?' or 'How can I deal with this situation the best possible way?'. Whatever you do, you must eliminate self-defeating thoughts and negativity. They only serve to limit your potential. Try and see the better side of an inopportune situation. Life is what you make of it, even when everything seems to be going against you, there is good around if you look for it! Learn Effective Communication With OthersCommunication with you spouse or partner can be especially stressful when one or the other does not display respect when talking to or addressing the other person. This can have tremendous consequences on your health. I have researched a few of the most effective ways for two people to handle conflict.
